First album without Piotr ... cautiously optimistic.

Agreed. Very curious what the album will be like. The songs released so far all had a very clear own identity.

Wasteland isn't bad but probably my least favorite out of all their albums. Last three songs are pretty great though.

It's a bit of a mixed bag yeah. More of their albums suffer from that particular flaw imo

Exactly. Those are some great tracks. He is experimenting with his singing too, more heavily using his lower register in those tracks.

My favorite Riverside record. So relaxing, fun and still retains that melancholy the band is known for.

Caterpillar and the Barbed Wire really showcases everything I love about this band. My most jammed band from the last 2 years and I still haven't properly listened to all their albums. I feel Duda is the most underrated frontman. The guy is up there with the best there's ever been.

I really like this one too, yeah. Great vibes, I even think I've always loved their softer moments more than their louder ones.

Finally bumped this. Honestly I'm surprised at how often I come back to this. It's such a pleasant listen throughout
