And it turns out Dirk's move to Megadeth is only gonna have like 6 years in it if Mustaine follows through with his retirement plans. Shame Soilwork might not want/need him back in that time if the new guy develops well enough.

Shame to see the drummer go but hopefully the new guy is solid. This band has shown that lineup changes can really bring a new creative spark to a band.
I used to think I enjoyed their early albums growing up, but in retrospect none of them are really better than 3.5s. This and Living Infinite are easily their best ever work, which is amazing for a band this late in their career. It's interesting that it's basically a completely different lineup that managed to deliver music that still sounds very much in character like their old material, but just better.
