Started out as a 3, but I quickly realized how much I was annoyed by the sheer blandness and dropped it to a 2.5. A few weeks later I checked it out again and could barely finish the thing it was so boring.

Really loved the first track and the climax of the second but found it difficult to listen to the rest. Challenger 1 is so long and there isn't much that's musical - find myself skipping most of it...



Bit perplexed by the high rating - maybe the fantastic production is responsible...but each to their own...

The first track is so boring I'm almost half way through it but jesus, this sounds like one of those unimaginative ambient bedroom guitar players who has watched way too many Andy Othling videos. Does it get better? It's those soft 2-note chord progressions with delay that This Will Destroy You used throughout their first 2 albums. They did it well but now everyone is copying them and it's so trite these days.
