Their last single ignited my interest. This is such a gemm. Damned if Forward to Requiem isn't moving (OLD FRIENDS)! Such an interesting sound. Can't rate tho for it's too soon. But that was a blast for its diversity and intensity. A bit too much 00's break but they successly make them interesting
I bought the compilation with Ether and Lord of Woe ! The contrast is beneficial for each release

Awesome album overall. Requiem, Threads, Marionettes, Let Me In and Ether are standout tracks. The diversity plays a great role. Fake and Blood Moon lean a bit too much on the 00's riffage but in the big picture of Old Souls it goes by pretty well.

Honestly forgot how good this is. Blood Moon, Scraping the Barrel, and Marionette are such a great trio. Ether is great too.

This record holds a special spot for me and Its bloody good. To a degree it also feels like a different band compared to their new material. I think my nostalgia goggles are on or its the atmosphere

i love the trajectory of their first three and it pisses me off so much that they flipped into being everything i dislike in modern core the moment i got into the style smfh

Yeah, I still liked Worlds Apart a decent amount but everything after that was pretty weak for me. Kind of feels like a similar trajectory as what happened with Architects, although probably not nearly as bad

You know, I've always been really hard on Fake for being the most bland song here, but even that track bodies most of their recent work.
