Selmasongs is also pre-Vesp, it was released between Homogenic and Vespertine. It's just so overlooked that I figured it would help to at least mention it

(It's got like 180 votes right now)

The actual score from Dancer in the Dark makes Selmasongs seem weak in comparison in the context of the film; but Selma is still amazing

She's been busy on all fronts, seemingly.

I also just realised it's less than two months ago that she released a music video for her previous album.

If she releases a new album this year...

That would change everything.

I listened to Vespertine after reading the Dawn winter journal by Phil Elverum (one of his entries details a night where he was listening to "Undo" and broke down crying on the floor of his cabin, the inspiration for his song "Voice in Headphones"). I can't believe I slept on Bjork for this long.

Everyone seems to jump to homogenic as her magnum opus but I don't think it's even in the top 3. Outside of 4 really stellar songs, it's kind of boring. The mid section in particular is forgettable. I think vespertine, debut, and post are much better albums

Really? I don't find any part of Homogenic remotely boring.
