idk quaristice is radical as hell and definitely top tier autechre, but i think confield and this are ahead of it. quaristice doesn't have any of the sheer emotion presented here (the slowdown in rae, the paranoia of arch carrier, the elegiac feel of drane2) or the technical wizardry of confield (literally every song has insane sound design)
the lack of structure to the point where it is instead structured by the listener is a huge plus though, as are all of the different atmospheres it tackles deftly. i mean i all honesty all autechre is so fucking good that "their best" really comes down to personal taste. unless you pick incunabula in which case you have no taste
