It's just so perplexingly frustrating to come across those who choose to be so wilfully ingnorant, & I guess I'm merely responding in the hope that I might somehow plant the seed of enlightenment that allows them to realise the puzzlingly unnecessary limitations they have put on themselves for some peculiarly self-righteous reason.



Of course I've seen thousands of these kinds of comments down the years & realise it's probably best not to bother - but since I've now joined officially & intend to contribute to a site that I genuinely love despite it's flaws, I guess I might as well make the most of my membership & the opportunities it presents for my own opinionated self to be heard loud & clear...

You have a soft spot for well-orchestrated guitarwork I think, although that's a terribly general accusation to make.



I mean I'm the same way. I only 4'd this because I'm quite a fan of the genre. If I wasn't a metalcore kinda guy, this probably wouldn't measure up all that well.

It's true, I do. In reality I'd have this at a 3.6 or something, while Impulse at a 3.3 or 3.4.

But it's getting harder and harder for me to find a metalcore band worth listening to more than once. They're really all starting to sound the same...

its like they took every trend in the new melodic/"progressive" metalcore/deathcore scene and tried to roll it into one

sound, and it just comes off as scatterbrained
