It was pretty bad tbh

At the very least, Planet of the Apes and Poltergeist were solid metal tracks, though :-[ Those two

warrant it at least a 2/5.

This guy's voice reminds me of old school The Secret.

I don't see how you can 1/5 Deconstruction. ;_;

It's not a 1, or even close, I just didn't understand all the hype around it at alllll. And yeah obviously I enjoy harsh vocals it's just this style that rubs me the wrong way.

Speaking of cover art, didn't Boris use this colour scheme on an album once, probably for the same reason this band used it?

I didn't know bands held copyright over colors. Besides, this looks totally different.

the colors he was talking about were the colored vinyls i think, but yeah, boris's pink had similar colors.

yeah those are my two favorites and "irresistible" is a good lil bridge track. the album slows down for me after that but it's still good, just need to listen more i think

i thought Irresistible was kind of boring, probably because its sandwiched between the two best tracks

yeah and there's no black metal, so i can see why this style of harsh vocals rub him the wrong way.

Hahahaha way to miss the point. Go back a few pages and read redsky's blurb and especially this part:

Both these records also follow the same bright art motifs that act as sort of a "fuck you" to the genre's traditionalism.

I was just pointing out that they used the same technique here as Boris did for Pink. And don't kid yourself trying to defend this album, they do look strikingly similar.

whenever I listen to The Dream House and Irresistable together, it reminds me of my dog that passed away a month ago and I get really sad
