I prefer to this the band's debut, in my opinion the musicianship and vocal delivery are more adventurous, though it's still not brilliant in general. Some songs I can't really take seriously ("Body and Blood" and "Idolatrine" are too cheesy for me to like in the long run), but there are others where I have been impressed time and again-namely "Secular Haze" and "Ghuleh/The Zombie Queen". Makes me wonder what the upcoming album released this year will be like.

This album is kind of a dud as far as the band is concerned, but Body and Blood still rules.

weakest of the 3 for sure, can't say it's a dud though as there are many good songs here

My least favorite Ghost album overall. I will say this however; the songs they play from this live are killer. Jigolo, Ghuleh, Body and Blood and Monstrance Clock are fucking incredible in person.

Ghuleh and Year Zero. But yeah, should probably have been an EP.

I kinda want to hear another Ghost record starring Papa Emeritus II now.

I still like it just as much, if not more than Meliora.

I like how diverse this is, but the debut and Meliora are superior.
