and yea man i grew up on melee. i can hold my own against people who use wavedashing, l-canceling, and all that good stuff (that i never learned) just because i have really good instincts in that game now lol. just about the only time i enjoy interacting with my suitemates is playing brawl, actually, because they're all good so we have super competitive games

@Atari they def made it less competitive, which bothered people. It's slower-paced too, and they took out a lot of hitstun so less combos. Personally I still like it, it sort of requires you to know less about techniques/combos and relies more on your reaction time/instincts. I like both for what they are, but I can see why people would take issue with Brawl

I enjoy Melee more when I'm playing people who are equally good, but I prefer Brawl against people who aren't because they're not at as big a disadvantage. tbh it's pointless, both are two of the best party games ever. not much more to that

I only have an Xbox 360 now and that's too much. I hardly play any and when I go on spurts where I'll play I quickly burn out and think of real life. I'm not trying to sound arrogant or whatever could be percieved that's just how I am about games now.

Yeah Storm I feel you, I don't play any video games in college (instead I waste my Saturdays on Sputnik, hm...) beyond Pokemon last quarter which was more of a gap filler anyways. Most stuff I play is stuff I play with other people. I don't just sit in front of a TV and play an FPS for an entire Friday anymore, it's prob better that way

I just hate FPS's in general. I was playing BO2, and granted it's BO2, but I just found it incredibly sad how low people stoop to get good K/D's. Camping, noobtubing... is that even enjoyable? I think I've just outgrown the audience of FPS's and so the genre too (by extension).
