That was a magical hour last night listening to these for the first time with the new album. Are all their albums like that?

Not exactly! You're in the progressive era of the band, spanning from Spiritual Migration to now. Prior to that, they leaned moreso on progressive death metal and melodic death metal. Their evolution has brought them to this point, and it's definitely amazing to see.



All of their records are stellar, but for different reasons. If their new album is your kind of style, you'd love Aathma and Spiritual as well, but don't discount the others; their songwriting is incredible. Core is a classic album, featuring three massive, 20 minute tracks detailing the story of Persephone, the band's namesake.

I'll 100% have to check out more of their stuff, might take me a while tho with this and new Rolo to sink my teeth into. I was honestly blown away by the new album, great weekend of music

I've loved it more and more when revisiting, but it is definitely their most noodly. But I think I exaggerated how bad it was, because the overall songwriting is stunning and there are a lot of beautiful moments here.
