"Trendkill>fbd =vulgar>cfh>rts>power metal"
Pretty close, for me it's:
Trendkill > Beyond > Reinventing > Vulgar = Cowboys >> Power Metal = Metal Magic

the sleep is probably my favorite pantera song
and that primal sledge riff at 1min is pretty rad.

Ha, what a great buddy you have there Feather :] If you got accustomed to those two you can look forward to exploring Far Beyond and Trendkill. They need time to kick in but when they do it's just so damn intense...

Haha, I admit on being a bit crazy sometimes but that's how I feel. Metal Magic is way better than its rep imo.

I find it hilarious that Spotify doesn't have any of their 80s albums, basically pretending that that era of Pantera didn't happen lol

@Davil: If that means that you dig both then everything's alright. I'm pretty defensive towards Power Metal, it has a couple of my fave Pantera tunes like Hard Ride which just riffs like crazy. Legit "thrash glam" that album, it's 3rd after Cowboy and Vulgar for me

Absolutely, I really enjoy both of em and I feel a bit defensive for Metal Magic. It's like almost no one takes into account that despite being complete rookies at that time Dime, Vinnie and Rex pulled of a pretty tight and energetic performance on there. I mean, songwriting isn't very inspired and I'm not the biggest fan of Terry's vocals but it's a damn solid and fun debut.
