A well-written review, but I disagree with most of it.
I can't stand listening to Dragonforce, it just gives me a headache (and this is coming from someone who listens to death and black metal while I sleep).
I also cannot stand how all the 'scene-kids' have taken up Dragonforce to be the next cool thing, without having any idea about power-metal.
That's my two cents, I commend you on such a detailed review though.

This was legitimately my favorite album for the first 4 days I got it. I still listen to a few songs here and there, but not much anymore.

And someones gotta tell me how to change my font size like that^

It's my personal opinion that if you're listening to an album, and it finishes and you go "oh, that wasn't just one song?'', there's something wrong with it.

Great band, boring music.

Dragonforce is a band that you can overdose on if you spin their record too often.

In Fire and Flames is a great song. Second in my Dragonforce list after Fury of the Storm.

Very fun to play in GHIII

It's fucking difficult. I disagree on the real guitar is easier thing though :D

try sweeping with 5 buttons compared to 22-24 frets on 6 strings.

I fucking hate Guitar Hero for the ridiculous comparisons that arise between it and the actual instrument. The real instrument will always be harder to play, there's no comparison.

Tapping on Guitar Hero = WAY harder than on real guitar.

More difficult in general, excluding any techniques in particular. It just pisses me off that the real thing is compared to a video game.

Yeah same. There are so much more things to be done and possible on an actual guitar. Guitar hero = 5 buttons. Real Guitar = 6 strings and 22-24 frets on each string. if you still think guitar hero is harder, gtfo.

The only people that say that are people that have been playing guitar enough that it is easy, and have only played GH for a little bit.

I mean, damn, people play guitar their whole lives...GH has been out, what, 3 years?

People make that argument so they don't have to feel like such a douchebag when they say they're good at guitar hero, and say they can "play dragonforce"
Although to be honest, many of the notes played [shredded] on this song ARE played on the frets closest to the pickups
