well potsy's pretty wrong since even besides col and neurosis theres like 3 or 4 pm bands that are more enjoyable than isis, probably more

and I dont deny theres a good 10-20 or so post metal bands i listen to regularly, but after that most of it really does just get monotonous. but most genres do. just depends how much you like the genre.

of course i like early pelican. i love almost anything atmospheric and heavy, so post-metal was easy to get into for me. its just as ive listened to more and more bands in the genre its just gotten harder to find something fresh. but again most genres wear out their welcome creativity wise after 5-10 years or so. ill still jam a good new post-metal album if its executed well.

Hey I agree with pots I've gotten kind of bored with pm outside of neurosis, isis and col. And some pelican. Although I haven't heard that Tusk album so I guess I should check that out.
