Weird may be an insult in many contexts, but in the context of taste in art, "you have weird taste" is about the biggest compliment you could give someone. Better than "good taste" or "diverse taste" even.



At least in my opinion, since I feel like boring art is worse than bad art, since at least bad art will likely invoke an interesting response.



Now if you wanted to insult me, you could say I have generic taste. That'd break my heart.

Break My Body is a masterpiece in general



The whole album is honestly a mastery of the indie rock/ noise pop style

Defo hearing these things more atm. Still not my favourite noise pop by a long shot (hey there Clouds Taste Metallic) but it's more coherent than I remembered
