love love love it. but as good as TWOAF?? nope. that album had such amazing flow to it. maybe that is something they were consciously trying to work against, who knows. but i found myself obsessing over fewer songs than i would have expected.

Back when I was first getting into metal, gateway bands were Slipknot and Korn. Meshuggah and Gojira are real metal that both push boundaries and constantly experiment with their sound, not too big on LoG but still dude.

And MeatSalad, sure they do. Notice the extreme change of sound from Chaosphere to Nothing...or just listen to Catch Thirtythree. Koloss is a bad example, because that's just more of a summary of their career. Still an amazing album, though.
