nostalgia tripping on this album and death-grip ahrd. Band got a lot of undeserved hate from both the metal and punk communities, and a lot of it was justified, but man would i be lost without them getting me into both genres as a 12 year old

The re-record is certainly a choice lol. I'll check it out just for a laugh, but honestly the production on this is pretty on-point, and there's no fixing the hilariously bad lyrics, so I see no point other than giving the finger to Alex.

I know he was removed and says he didn't know it was coming until it was a done deal, which really sucks if true. I think that's a shitty way to handle a situation when you've been in a band together for that long, kinda like how Lamb of God kicked Chris Adler with no warning via email.
I think they just wanted to go in different directions. Brandon doesn't seem to have anything bad to say about Alex, just that it was a split that needed to happen.
