Oh man, think I prefer this to Family Jewels! Dunno why I slept on this so long, I even enjoyed Primadonna when that dominated every radio station in the UK for a year straight. This is good! Valley of the Dolls is epic.

Few more spins, it's a great album. Not the biggest fan of the constant dance-poppy Gaga worshipping though. Gets a bit overkill for me. Most of this is really good, the slower songs are what make this album for me. Teen Idle and Valley of the Dolls are a fantastic one-two punch. Awesome songs!

I loved this when it came out and now re-listening years later it still totally holds up for me (I might like it even more now?). the personality of Marina's vocal performance and lyrics just take it to another level that she hasn't quite captured since. crazy how this album blew up with the tiktok crowd like 10 years later too
