The Boris with Merzbow collab has some amazing releases, their live album Rock Dream is great, and I enjoyed Gensho quite a lot. Haven't listened to any solo releases by Merzbow though sadly, anything worth checking out?

Agalloch does it nice on Ashes Against the Grain. Its pretty rare to find it so tastefully done.

the CD looks like this, but the vinyl has a much clearer picture on it. Don't know why anyone would want it changed to this fuzzier art, not that it matters though.
