If I would rank the songs, it would be something like this:
Words In The Water
Anthology
Call It In The Air
Blinded
Listen Through Me
Disarmed
Yellow Belly
Promises
Treading Paper
Blur
Cataracts

Does anyone think this is better than Beggars? Just need a heads up if so, because it takes a little time to call Austrailia and get Russel Crowe to fly out and foyyyite you. "Makin' movies, makin' songs, and FOYITEN' 'round the world!"

Better than Beggars.
Season six of South Park is right up there with the best of the series. Nostalgic stuff. Can't wait to see how they resolve the "You're Getting Old" storyline.

I bet they start the new season as if nothing happened. The Marshes are all living together and act as if they didn't split up at the end of the last season. It would be the greatest ironic punchline to a cliffhanger ever.

K so this is probably their best album IMO after Artist in the Ambulence

Great album thus far. Was a little underwhelmed after the first listen. Each listen since has been better and better. Album really picks up after Catarcts, not in the sense of tempo or pace, but in the tracks I enjoyed most.

Also, I'd have to agree with the consensus that this is better than Beggars. Not a lot of cohesion in Beggars and fairly depressing.

OK, so it kind of scares me that the same day I had watched that SP episode, I find that reference on here.

I don't understand why people think Artist is so great

"Felix, I just have a soft spot for "Paper Tigers." It was one of the first songs that made me take notice of Thrice. I think "Under A Killing Moon" and "Abolition Of Man" are fucking phenomenal too. "
You like metul Thrice so you probably won't like too much post-Artist tbh. I'm kinda glad they dropped their Killswitch Engage infatuation from that record

Strizz, I love Thrice's post-post-hardcore stuff. Vheissu is amazing, and the entire Alchamey Index collection is phenomenol. After Illusion Of Safety and Artist In The Ambulance, Beggars is my favorite album of theirs. In fact, I may like Beggars better than both, but just connect with those early records sentimentally.

I do think Artist in the Ambulance is their second best behind Vheissu. Insanely solid album.
I still haven't heard this in full but I've heard most of the songs in their entirety. My expectations and hopes have been fluctuating like crazy lol one day I'm sort of bummed that they kept the straight up rock feel and then days like today I'm stoked out of my mind for this album and I think it all sounds amazing. Time will tell whether it's the bummed-ness or the stoked-ness that will win out.
