p.s. the sidekicks rule

i don't pay attention to sports in the slightest
sidekicks rule. they're one of the best live bands around here and just in general imo, their vocal range is incredible

No one else seems to be mentioning it much, but I really love Campaign For a Better Next Weekend. Might be my
favorite track.

This is a pleasant surprise. Taking a lot of cues from Scrambles and expanding upon them.

After more listens, I think Scrambles might be better, but it's really close. I think this might be their most cohesive album yet though, it flows so nicely

good album. about what I was expecting. don't quite understand the massive fandom this band has but oh well, I have no qualms with it... the band seems like pretty awesome dudes as well.
but yeah this is a perfect nonchalant summer car album I guess. 3.5ish.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO

It must be difficult to type at a computer without a spine.
Cohesiveness has mattered on every Bomb album, ever since "Blow Your Brains Out" didn't miss a beat as it launched into "Does your Face Hurt?"
Edit: Let me clarify here. Not cohesiveness. I guess I was just referring to track-to-track transitions. But if we're talking album continuity, Scrambles was the best. It still left me scratching my head a little regarding continuity (like all of the previous releases), but Scrambles approached strong album continuity. This has the most continuity of any BTMI! release and it's a better album for that reason. But this definitely isn't the full potential of the band, as far as continuity, or anything else.
The music is inspired, but there was nothing particularly inspirational about this release as a listener. The album is also somewhat depressing. The next album is probably going to be mindblowing.
