I'm just rattling off my favorites of the year here (as expected) but we have: James Blake, Ravedeath 1972, Sit Resist, A I A, Bon Iver, Black Up... all albums I consider much better.

I love the sound they went for on this album, but I find that every song pretty much sounds the same. The album is a blend of repetition for me.

yes, they all have the same production.

usually all songs on an album have similar production.

I find that to be the downfall of a lot of albums, namely Arctic Monkeys' debut, and Death Cab's latest album. I like quite a lot of variety in production, personally.

If you don't like it, you don't like it. It has that shoegaze/80s feel to it, which is cool to me.

Oh i really like it, I love that shoegaze feel and I agree it works really well at creating an atmosphere, it just doesn't let up. I guess I'd like it more if it was shorter or if there was more variation in tempo.

O Wow I had No idea how redic this album would be. First album I've listened to since war all the time. Loving it. I don't know why I waited so long to download this. Might be their best album, prob their heaviest (even though the lack of screaming), I couldn't have expected better than this. Fucking yes.
