What I don't understand is why people get so worked up over reviews. Seriously, who cares? Any form of

art -- movies, music, etc -- is going to be completely subjective. Some people will like it, others

will not.



What I also don't understand -- and I know this boils down to opinion, just like I said above -- is

why it bothers people if a band isn't original. Does it matter? I don't know about you guys, but I

listen to music because I enjoy how it sounds. My satisfaction of listening to a song isn't derived

from how original or innovative it is. Yeah, Sum 41 have definitely ripped off bands like Blink-182

and Green Day with the last couple of albums. Hell, you could say that's all they've ever done. I

personally don't care though. If it gets my toe tapping, that's all that matters to me.
