Consider me on board. As good as this record is, a lot of it is still sounding samey to me. I'm definitely enjoying it in small doses more than listening to it all the way through.

Fair call Zero. I think the alternating between songs that have more screaming & then less screaming works well enough though.

Dav(ey) you better be skipping right over to the new MCr album immediately. I can't fight of the legion of haterz by myself. I need your unparalleled knowledge (ey)

LG, unfortunately you will have to wait a week or two as I'm sort of tied up for time over the next couple of weeks. Atavan likes it, so get him to defend your honor.

I'd want to know your opinion on it Davey, I loved TBP and 3 Cheers but find it repulsive.

I think the new MCR is every bit a grab at artsy meets deplorable. It's so bad, and so underwhelming and un-catchy. Fuck.
sorry I bet there are people who are going to read that and think I am just a fucking idiot but I can't stand it.

andcas thats enough. Davey's a big boy he can decide for himself.

Davies gonna side with the killjoys for sure.

This album is so damn catchy, I can't get enough of it. The chorus on Safe House is addicting, as is the one on Landslide.
I really like Buddy's screaming style on this. Going through all of their discs, it seems he improved on his screaming style from Life is Not a Waiting Room on this and now its even better.

Sorry guys, you will have to be even more patient with me re: MCR. Really busy right now.
Great to hear you like this album BassDemon.
andcas, let us know how that show is. While I wouldn't say SF & Bayside are a perfect fit, that would still be a great show to see live. Bayside cannot be bad live.

Ok, so did anyone end up going to see them live with Bayside? If so, thoughts...
|

They played with Bayside? weird.

Apparently did a whole tour with them. Definitely a strange pairing, but one which could strangely work to bring ina few more fans to either band.
|
| |
Probably more to Bayside I would imagine.
I have seen Senses Fail live before, and they were okay, nothing spectacular. Their drummer was like a robot, although this was like 5 years ago. They didn't get a new drummer since then have they?

Nope, same drummer as when they began.
And I agree that fans could be wooed by Bayside. In fact, I was one of them many years ago when they supported Funeral For A Friend. They are so solid & consistent live that it would not surprise me if they have won half of their fans this way.

Yeah, it's always tricky to tell. Or it's not edited, but that was like the 83rd take or something.
