I don't remember too good this band tbh, besides this one....enjoying this new one, but songs are waaaay too short for the prog they re trying to implement there. It has pretty vibe though.

'This is better than Jane Doe.'

Considering you have this rated at 3.5/5 it's a bad opinion, I'd have respected it more if you absolutely loved this tbh.

Jupiter is just as good as this one for me, but I need to hear the rest.

I snapped a 4 on Jupiter but barely remember it tbh I know its more post than this awesomeness for sure. Don't know the rest either, but the new one as I said is too damn short...

The new one is a gift simply for existing after Caleb's passing, so it's understandable why it's so short and incomplete.

It makes sense in a way, thus my 3.5 and no 3 or less. And there's a couple of great songs there...

Jupiter has 'Big Riff' which is a 5/5 song and helps elevate it as a whole, the rest is probably not on a par with this thinking about it.

Trying to decide whether to plunge straight into the new one, or take my time and check the releases post-Jupiter (chronologically), probably the latter.

I honestly think their type of raw production doesn't help the post/prog turn they took...so my willing to check their post Jupiter releases vanished a fair amount. This new one just came out and I gave it a try...its only a 30 minutes check though.

Try and tell me this isn't a 5/5 song. If you say otherwise, you're lying to yourself.

Sing My Loves

I would also recommend checking out Planets of Old (EP) if you want something that is a cross between this and Jupiter. The EP also features some rare Brodsky screams, which is always a treat.

White Silence has quite a few Brodsky screams as well.

I said this in another thread just now but I feel like all they would've had to do to make Final Transmission feel complete to me was add Inflatable Dream

I thought Inflatable Dream was from, like, 1999 sessions or thereabouts? wouldn't that be a little out of place on Final Transmission (much as that song is a fuckin slap)
