Underrated album for sure.

That riff halfway through God of our own divinity is just disgusting.

It's not that bad. The only unforgivable part(s) is the number of crappy interludes.

Production is hanging, but album is great.

If production didn't suck that much I'd jam this more often. Lots of great ideas and riffs clouded by that crappy tone that also makes feel the album a chore/repetitive.
The interludes and bonus material doesn't bother me at all, they can be easily skipped.

Honestly the guitar tone on Blessed is worse than this. Trey went full Trey on this, as brother Piss has said, putting box fans in front of his amp and stuff apparently, to create this weird tone, but I think the criticism is overblown.

100% agreed, the guitar tone is very strange. At what point did they listen to that and think it worked? So much quality is buried in shit.

I much prefer the guitar tone on BATS!

criticism is overblown for sure but the guitar tone on Blessed doesn't bother me as much as here for some reason

Strange is a much better word than crappy. I mean I wouldn't want it to become a regular feature but it doesn't take away so much from the riffs as people seem to think, at least for me.

I agree that the criticism is overblown, as you can see the production hasn't really affected my rating. But the average on this is brutally low.

Blessed's tone is far more conventional but I personally find it quite lifeless. Generally I like Morrissound production but that tone doesn't do it for me. Still an excellent album, mind.

Yeah people slaughter this album for the production when there's some really great tunes on here. The first half of this album is probably a 4 and the second half a 3, makes the 3.5 appropriate.
