Coming from a HUGE Acacia Strain fan, this album is a snooze fest. It has a couple redeeming songs, but as a whole is probably their worst release to date. The whole rhyme scheme idea is just.....wtf. Kinda feels like they lost their touch on this one. Acacia has always been a chug fest, but one of the few bands that can make that style exciting; unfortunately it didn't work on this one.

Great review, but one comment on it, you should go check out their studio blogs, they talk about this.
"The Acacia Strain really had a good idea of what they wanted this album to sound like."
After watching their studio "vlogs" they say that they didn't write the songs as an album. an example being, the songs "the hills have eyes" and "terminated" were written and recorded at least 6 months before this album was recorded, but they did try to round it up as an album in the end.

I'm going to see them tonight! I'm pumped.

Vincent is pretty funny live but in all honesty they don't sound too great. Good energy makes up for it though
