did not know obituary were opening for megadeth until i got my ticket a few days ago. so finally checking them out! this goes so hard. so grimy and gnarly. love how raw it is. the death doom and thrash influences here are awesome. so many killer riffs. love the slow chunky ones. and these vocals are incredible, absolutely deranged. really unique tone. great album!

i am surprised you don’t! but surprisingly seems like a lot of people here aren’t huge on them for whatever reason.

I just have never been able to get into them. I hate the production here and they just have always been a band that I don't see the hype for.

i just knew you'd love these guys jr haha. ahead of the curve with the slower groovier riffs that almost feel hardcore influenced. you see tons of those bands now and obituary was doing it in 89 m/

Oh yea, Obituary are legends. Everyone in my local scene in FL fucked with them heavy. It's cool how the hardcore scene has embraced them too and they'll play non DM fests. Album after this goes even harder!

This album rules. Cause of death is overrated, despite featuring James Murphy. A feat only Obituary could accomplish. Everything that I've heard after CoD is unlistenable
