Can't agree there considering how Innuendo's my favorite, but i admit it is an unpopular as hell of a belief

"but i admit it is an unpopular as hell of a belief"
the general consensus is that Queen pretty much became a singles band before the end of the decade and didn't even reach the heights of their first five albums again.

exactly why I said it was an unpopular belief to see Innuendo as my favorite

I'd still say their poopy period started after Jazz not after Races tho

That's what's weird about Queen. Their first five albums were pretty much prog, then you had News of the World which was basically arena rock, and then Jazz was basically proggy again. They don't really seem to have a "prog era" basically it's kinda all over the place

Then there's Innuendo which has a lot of prog too

Queen is to prog like Steely Dan is to jazz

Bohemian Rhapsody is such a well known song but I never hear people mention the great guitar work in it. There's some really great and very sorrowful sounding guitar work right after the ''Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all'' line that should be replayed over and over again. Take note, wanker guitarists. That is playing with feeling.

idk I think more of John Deacon when anybody talks about "great instrumentation" on a Queen record

Bryan May is pretty well known but I still think he doesn't get enough credit for how unique and genius and smart he is.
