I don't like Gypsy at all
It has some of the most forced lyrics the band ever wrote, especially the chorus
If there had to be a 4th place, I'd go with Rock 'n' Roll Doctor since if the lyrics were taken out it'd make for a great instrumental

ars ars ars.....this is better than 99.98% of the music being released today
|
| |
The only issue it really has is it's complete balls when you compare, but albeit still not half as bad as the rep it gets and I think that's why it mainly gets flamed. A little too much going on for Sabbath. I think they were trying to do different shit and not all of it worked, but there's some real gems here. Better than Never Say Die & Born again that's for sure.

"ars ars ars.....this is better than 99.98% of the music being released today"
The fact that your idea of "good modern music" is Avenged Sevenfold makes it hard for me to take your opinion seriously in regards to "music being released today"
No offense

well show me something good then pal

It's because Avenged Sevenfold dabbles in the traditional style of metal/rock they do pretty well for it especially if that's the era you dig.

@Titan: You only like rock music, and rock has be pretty much dead since like 2007, so I think it's a not worth it.

20 years? I wouldn't go that far
The early 2000s had plenty of rocky stuff even in your vein

an album here and there.....compared to what we were used to getting in hard rock and heavy metal

Take the best hard rock album of each year from the 2000's and compare to back than there was more than a hand full of those each year.. where the choice wasn't obvious where you wouldn't just point to one or two groups. To entirely dismiss the 2000's isn't fair there's good stuff, but in less abundance and if there is it sure is shit is mostly not mainstream. Hard Rock/Metal definitively isn't up to snuff.. not even close. I'm biased, as we all are, but that's how I feel about it.
