an album created for the purpose to magnet fans; to get people to listen to them because they were too heavy to gain a fanbase and $$$

someone who was born after Obsolete.
"Guitarist Dino Cazares has stated that Soul of a New Machine is a concept album, concerning man's creation of a machine that could be either technological or governmental. It was also confirmed by bassist Christian Olde Wolbers in an interview. The particular concept would later play a more prominent role in some of Fear Factory's later albums."
That album was the backbone of their entire career, ironically Demanufatures album art as a backbone.

I always liked this one more than Demanufacture. Obsolete has better structured songs. 6 of the 10 songs only have 2 choruses, this is where Demanufacture has some weaknesses, I wish there were more songs like Pisschrist, the title track or Zero Signal on it. Body Hammer and Dog Day Sunrise for example are chorus whoring, too repetitive and predictable for me.
Can someone recommend me some industrial metal (or other metal / metalcore with electronic stuff) where choruses don't play THAT big of a part? For example I love albums like "Desperate Living" by Horse The Band, "Transhuman" by Cyanotic, "Anticore" and "Psycho The Rapist" by Acumen Nation. "City" by Strapping Young Lad. Of course those have choruses just only a few 3 chorus ones (or none like the HTB album I mentioned or the Skylight album by Atoma).
More albums like them would be appreciated. It just seems like most industrial metal albums are structured way too predictable.
