Not gonna lie, Ghost of Perdition is probably Opeth's best song ever.

No, Ghost of Perdition isn't Opeth's best song. I'm gonna have to say Godhead's Lament.

Their best imo. The Grand Conjuration is their best song and Ghost Of Perdition is awesome too.

As much as I dislike Opeth although never given the chance Reverie/Harlequin Forest is an amazing song. Im gonna pick up that used copy of Deliverance now.

Deliverance is one of their worst tbh, but you would probably like it because it's straight out heavy. It's less atmospheric than, say, Still Life or MAYH.

Well, it's 6 bucks and Opeth, so that's hard to come by. But yeah, I want to delve into the heavy yet atmospheric stuff. I had Ghost Reveries for a couple days before I lost my case. I should Get Blackwater Park but never get around to it.

Go for Blackwater Park. Definitely their best album. Though I have to give props to My Arms, Your Hearse for "Demon of the Fall". Love that track.

Deliverance is by no means their worst, Opeth don't make crappy albums ;P. All the tracks are killer except maybe the last song which is still awsome. I hear a lot of people complaining about 'Wreath' (features no clean singing) but once you get used to it, it is pretty awesome.

IMO this requires the most listens along with My Arms, Your Hearse of all the Opeth albums but you're rewarded just as much as the others. So go for Deliverance.

You are very much mistaken. This is probably their most accessible album. Still Life is much harder to get into.

As I said, it was mostly because of the track Wreath i found it harder to get into 'cause i'ts an important track on the album as an opener. But yeah i guess the rest is some of their more accesible stuff like Deliverance (song).

btw this album (GR) rules.
