Your not alone, I think most people above the age of reason find this to be trite and un-listen-able but there are obviously some who like it.

I honestly don't understand why a critic would call this everything wrong with music... there are so many artists on the radio that value image over musical quality, that replicate the same club banger single over and over. At least Adam Young can craft a charming atmosphere. 100 out of 100 times I'll take Owl City over every single song on mainstream radio.
