1969 was not Pink Floyd's best year haha.

been jamming it quite a bit lately, it's much more streamlined than their other stuff in terms of song length/structure imo, but they try out a few more upbeat styles and it works really well in that context.



need to give More another listen. from what I remember, the actual songs were really good but all those soundtracky ones kinda threw off the pacing.

I really like the weird dirty synth stuff on the title track of Obscured. I wish they did more of that on their albums after that, it would've been pretty cool.



and yeah that's pretty much the same way I feel about More. Some of the songs get really weird too like Up The Khyber, which is like a psychedelic free jazz song and The Nile Song, which is like a poorly produced straight-forward hard rock song.

Echoes is one of the best songs ever so I hope he likes it and it's got some awesome guitar solos.
