Like this album, can't seem to get into any other of their albums.. The Wall is mostly filler, can't listen to Animals, Wish you were here is decent but not as good. Can't seem to listen to prior DSOTM either.

really? I can see liking this and not liking the Wall, but Animals and WYWH have no filler and are amazing.

I was listening to the Wall, right.. And I go through the hella-short tracks and all of them have random talking tossed in for half the track.. I thought I would like another brick in the wall part 2, then it has these kids chanting, and I don't want to here that.



Animals, listened to one song with random pig grunts all over the place. O_O I dunno man.



I feel like PF dropped like the synth prog influence or something past DSOFTM. No other passed has that atmospheric feel. And I wish the guy who sang "Time" would sing more as I think he is the better vocalist.

Alright, the vocalist on "Time" is guitar player David Gilmour, and he does the vocals for their last two albums. You may be into those albums and I would suggest trying "The Division Bell" which is IMO an excellent album.

yeah I mean they don't compare. I just figured since you liked Gilmour's voice you would be into it. I still think its a great album though.

I can't seem to get into Water's vocals, they seem so lifeless and dull. Gilmour's vocals seem so much more powerful, like on Us and Them, Time, Breathe, and money...



I didn't mind Water's vocals on DSOTM either, but they just don't seem to be as good on like Animals and Wish you were here (decent), and The Wall.. I dunno why, maybe they're a grower.

Waters' vocals are more fragile and emotional imo, especially on stuff like The Final Cut





gilmour's are a bit easier

I think for me it would go, WYWH>DSOTM>Animals>The Wall>Meddle>The Division Bell>all others
And Us and Them ftw
