I guess I'm not too too surprised this has five reviews. I remember these guys being fairly popular when they were around.

No not true

Miles Davis is post hardcore. Darkthrone is post hardcore. Now tell me, does this sound like Miles Davis or Darkthrone? I, as a man with two almost functional ear canals, would see prolly not.

these guys never got "big" in the post-hardcore scene. I dont think they ever did any headliners or were high up on any lineups. I remembering them being the lowest carded band when I saw them with iwrestledabearonce, miss may i, and inhale/exhale. I think they had the potential to get bigger and more prominent in the scene, but obviously they stopped rather quickly after seeing initial success.

They weren't big on a mainstream level but anyone who dug a little deeper, like bothering to post reviews or even browse this website probably would have been introduced to this universally acclaimed album. I think it's understated just how much this album influenced the genre in terms of inspiring songwriting from other bands. This is a near perfect culmination of everything the genre has to offer and still kicks the crap out vast majority of stuff since.

Fine, it's post-hardcore if we're being technical. I gave identifying the genre zero thought as it wasn't really the point of the post.

I specifically remember this band's Myspace page and they had a shit ton of friends lol. One of those bands that loved to whore themselves on that platform.

I mean it was the way of discovery for a core band dude, it only makes sense.

I'd have prolly done the same thing

Still amazes me how well this whole album pulls off exactly what it is. It really shouldn't be this good, but it is. Drunk, and jamming the absolute balls of of this entire thing
