It's good but doesn't give me the same energy as this one. Plus a few moments are maybe a bit annoying, while I think this one walks up to that line but never crosses it

yeah im honestly not even that happy with the whole 'rawring 20s' (eww) thing. most of it doesnt hold a candle to the melting pot that was 2000s core.

Part of it is that they try to be “original” by adding disembodied breakdowns and shit to the “technical” (they don’t have the skill) shit and it completely Misses the point of what these guys and other actually dope shit were trying to get at. Also it’s just manufactured nostalgia bullshit but lamer, at least Gen X-ers that jizz over the 80s actually talk about things they grew up with, none of these bands ever heard of funcking Funeral Diner when they were 4.

yeah i fully agree. i have no interest in people aping their idols. people went mental over that seeyouspacecowboy/if i die first (or whatever theyre called) collab track but honestly i thought it was pretty dumb.

i stopped looking at rym tbh. i find it useful for doing a deep dive on the charts when theres a genre i want to look into but thats about it
its metalcore chart is so much better than ours just for the fact that its more accurate but also theres a lot of awful stuff on there
