It's pretty much a large song ya, IMO Meshuggah's peak.

The grooves are so fucking good with perfect production yet the atmosphere is so haunting.

This is best Meshuggah, imo. It has the best incarnation of their sound (they have drifted a bit too far away from their thrashy origins and it has not sat well with me).

As so for Catch Thirty Three, I love it from "Mind's Mirrors" on, but always skip everything before that part.

@lil, what about the off-kilter solo if doom in Entrapment?!

Jesus entrapment's solo is so hard to try on guitar

I used to like DEI the best, but this has taken the title for my favorite record by them. It's got a good balance of their early thrash days and the more groovy sound they'd really explore with Nothing onwards

Nope, everything before "In Death is Life" just sounds like a weak version of that main riff to me. Besides, when you have track like "Mind's Mirrors", "Dehumanization", "In Death" and "Sum" at the tail end of your record, the front end WILL be overshadowed.

"This album slays too Calc" Oh I'm definately not denying that, especally since 'Mouth...' is on here.

I once woke up in the middle of the night with my headphones playing the ending part of Elastic. Needless to say, I freaked out, that part is literally the sound of insanity

I would love to wake up to "Elastic" or "Obsidian"

I mean, I once woke up to the main riff of Neurotica playing and I was fucking pumped to start the day after that.

For some reason, this seems to always be an album I can fall asleep to (in a good way)

I got around to listening to Catch 33, I really like everything Entrapment onward, but everything else in the first half I wish was shortened. Meshuggah is known for it's use of repetition to extreme levels, but for me it's a bit much at the start of Catch
