My rants come from hatred for crappy music/boredom & a wireless connection on a long trip. Doesn't matter to me what anyone says, the facts are there. I've seen e-mails from that band on myspace admitting their bassist did fucked up shit. (which is where the pedophile thing comes from) Why he couldn't man up to his own problems is something I don't really understand, which is what attracted my attention to this shitty band in the first place. Also, if he had these types of problems in the past, What are his ulterior motives for being in a sub-par teen-funded band? Regardless, this is about the music. Someone could listen to this their whole life for all I care. I'm only posting shit on a public forum because I don't care what anyone thinks, & I definitely think this band brings nothing to the table of rock. Sorry guys.

^LOL, first two ADTR albums are good for pop mosh, this is less good and less enjoyable due to it's similarities with the first two albums and a general lack of ideas. But "I'm Made Of Wax Larry" is a fun tune.

No, as i just said; i don't care what people think. I offer my opinion to like-minded individuals with a similar brain capacity for talent. It's what keeps my faith in the world that some people can spot real music from worthless bullshit. I as well as alot of other people know for a fact that bands like this are nothing more than an overblown marketing gimmick. Sorry, but as I said before this band isn't skilled enough to get the attention they get.



If you even looked at past similar-sounding Victory Records bands you'll notice they're actually more skilled than the bands they have on their label TODAY.



Any real music enthusiast (of absolutely ALL genres, keep in mind) will understand it as a whole throughout the years & not simply accept the new, watered-down, stupid bullshit that Alternative Press puts in front of their eyes. Are you people blind AND deaf?

No, you're a douche & no duh, but that still doesn't mean it isn't dumb as shit. Notice that music is in the entertainment industry. Entertainment can generally translate to fun, meaning all music is listened to for the fun factor. If you've actually lived life enough to see how people work, you'll know that the average person is a "major doucher" for liking any simple stupid shit that flashes in front of their eyes.



I mean, are we adults or children here? Do we see pretty colors on the TV and sit in front of it like idiots or do we actually analyze things & question what is put in front of us?



I would say something like "Curious George & Dr. Seuss books are both fucking badass to kids because of their pretty colors & rhymes, but now that i'm an adult I should have better things to read." but THEN I realized that this shitty of a band has absolutely NOTHING on George, the man in the yellow hat OR Doc Seuss, so scratch that comparison entirely.



Listen guys, don't question your whole existence as music listeners or even bother defending these guys. They're definitely no musical visionaries. That's obvious. Once your musical understanding grows a little more, you'll find that this band will be unbearable to listen to & you'll move on to better music.



I listened to this type of music about 5 years ago when it was better, louder, & much more creative. This music only seems like watered down bullshit to me. I agree with this review. Dude nailed it. I say this guy writes all their reviews.

Also, I totally agree with Iluvatar's Maroon 5 comment. I think that Maroon 5 (while I agree with almost all ScorpionStan said about them) is actually better than ADTR in terms of... they make simple, catchy music & still have the musical capabilities of a band like ADTR. They don't need to add overrated scene elements to obtain a fanbase.



ADTR has to use poppy elements of bands like Maroon 5 while horribly trying to blend it with hardcore, and it STILL doesn't even get them a decent of a fanbase! I could understand if they were a joke band, I might actually even think they're hilarious.



These guys actually call theirselves musicians & writers & I think it's fuckin hilarious.

originality advocate...get a life man, you write so much on this website. adtr is a good band. maybe they aren't original (heaven forbid) but they make music that some people like. you really need to take a look at what you do with your time and maybe reconsider doing something a little more productive, and meaningful.

^^^ I personally am enjoying watching him waste his time. Here he is, typing ongoing little rants about everything that's wrong with ADTR, all the while, ADTR is out there, making money (and music, good or bad) and pleasing whatever fan base they have despite the best efforts of originalityadvocate.
