Album is apeshit crazy, but still riffs hard and the almost bluesy leads are nuts

None of them sound like this, but Im personally a fan of Hangman's Hymn, and especially In Somniphobia. Also, their debut album is awesome.

mmm Infidel Art is another very eccentric one.
But really this band is pretty much always a beast of its own.

I really love Scenes from Hell, but it's very much an acquired taste I would say. but if the descrip "evil carnival" sounds appealing to u give it a go

this band is what Arcturus and all those weird prog bm bands would've sounded like if the second wave hadn't happened. It's the peak evolution of 1st wave thrashblack sound.
|
| |
hell yea, that's what I love about them. those other bands sound cheesy as hell to me idk

I feels sliiiightly underwhelmed because I realised this isn't quite as awesome as I thought on my initial listen. It's definitely excellent though

I remember buying this when it came out, based on a review stressing the album’s alleged thrash element.
Avant-garde yes, but thrash...

that reminds me of allmusic review or something, where they use the base descriptors possible even when they don't make sense
