The fact that this has an average lower than The X Factor is moronic. This is easily better than any of the other '90s albums, better than Seventh Son and better than most (if not all) the '00s albums. This is easily in the 3.5-4 range.

Seventh Son is a classic but yeah this needs more love. Recently read an old interview by these guys while touring for Seventh Son, stating that they were planning to release something more stripped down after SSOASS.

this is better than Fear of the Dark, only a few songs here stand out as bad, namely Hooks In You and Bring Your Daughter, everything else here is solid to great while like half of Fear is garbage

There are too many clunkers on Seventh Son and if I wanted more expansive and progressive heavy metal albums, there are too many superior alternatives from the time that album came out, several of those being Iron Maiden albums.
