Geez can a band do anything these days without being called sellouts? Shadows has the most legitimate reason of all time for not screaming on this album, and nobody even cares.
Regardless, I enjoyed every song on the album, except for Sieze the Day. However, I still don't like it as much as there previous material, but I still gave it a 4, so basically, I really like this band.

I can't say much I just started listenin' to A7X so I started listening to city of evil and I LOVED IT!! but i have to say WTF is with out a doubt so much better and i have 2 say they are my new favourite band!!!

i dont now what song it is becuz ive only heard it once but its the one where he goes to jail and his wife dies or something like that that is my favorite song by them so far i love it! i a;so like some of the otheres i think i miight by the cd becuz they are pretty good so far.

This is a great album leading to a new brand of music from this band, but in some songs there are just too many parts that try and showcase the musicianship instead of being concerned with promoting the song. For instance, the "flamenco" guitar solo at the end of "Sidewinder" is very well done, but it is not necessary. Also, the choir vocals in "The Wicked End" seem useless, as the song changes tone too many times. If this band sticks with a common sound on their next album, then it might achieve true greatness.

Considering this was the first album I heard from A7X, I had no reason to be disappointed by his vocals. But now that i've listened to WTF, I see why many people are upset.
