Using the gimmick of writing a song from the POV of a housecat shouldn't hit as hard as it does but "Plea from a Cat..." is one of the most affecting songs I've ever listened to.

Also John K Samson has put out some solo albums too. The first one is the only one I have there is another. So if you want more Weakerthans that is the best it seems the populace will get. Since the Weakethans I think are still cryogenically frozen.
I generally like the first solo album. A couple songs are a little dull, but still it's basically more Weakerthans though a bit stripped down so it's hard to screw that up.

I think I gave 'Left and Leaving' a 5 too. It wasn't any worse than the other and I really liked 'Reconstruction Site.' 'Left and Leaving' though always had a couple meh songs it also has some amazing ones too. See now I have to look.
