For me Let It Be is their most underrated work, I think I have it at 4.5. However, the reason is probably that i dig the blues very much.

Yeah Let it Be is dreadfully overlooked imo especially since the t/t is one of my absolute favourite Beatles jams

Never listened to pre-Rubber Soul Beatles so can't comment on Help

Dude Chrisjon have you heard Let it Be... Naked? Remastered the album to take away all the unnecessary string sections and it also gets rid of Dig it and Maggie Mae, so fuckin good

Let it Be... Naked is also awesome, props Rowan. It brings the album even closer to the roots of blues.

i haven't dude. i definitely want to. but i honestly don't mind the strings on The Long And Winding Road. apparently it pissed Paul off hard when he came back to the studio and found strings all over his jam lol

Agreed manosg, I prefer it to the normal album

Defs give it a spin Chrisjon, I never listen to the original now that I have that version. The strings

could get a bit irritating but honestly it's just worth it to not have Dig It and Maggie Mae. Also,

the tracklisting has been rearranged and it flows 100x better on the Naked version

just reading into it a bit and all the stuff they changed sounds good. Don't Let Me Down rules. i wouldn't miss the talking after/between songs but it never bothered me.

I never really got into Don't Let Me Down much, it's ok but the worst track on the Naked version imo

I'm just so glad Let it Be isn't sandwiched between Dig It and Maggie Mae anymore, that was the worst tracklisting choice fucking ever

It's frustrating how the highlights in this are truly spectacular but there are so many boring songs out here, and most of the highlights are completely out of place. AND it's a freaking double album. Highlights jammed into one single record would be the best Beatles album ever, I guess.

Btw every time I hear Revolution 9 I'm like "What the hell". After 3 minutes I'm saying along "number nine, number nine".
