The beginning of the gimmick.
Throw a bunch of weak riffs into a blender and then add simple acoustic interludes throughout. Congratulations you have the Opeth formula.
Orchid is filled with boring drawn-out songs and there is nothing memorable to be found. Listening to this album is a chore.
The only thing that makes this better than later Opeth releases is that the vocals haven't gone total gay yet.
