What a welcome surprise to the progressive death metal world

Yea this is probably the best progressive death metal record i've heard in a while. With Watershed and Colors (if it counts as prog death metal) and Textures new album.

Yeah it works much better as a whole...especially because they repeat things throughout the album and songs connect to each other and such...i'm starting to really like the album closer a lot...it took a while but i think it's a better closer than The Black Lodge could have been...

Black Lodge still is my fav track off this.

It goes back and forth for me between The Black Lodge and By Others Considered but since the latter got me into them i'd say its my favorite...i love the punch in the face right after the clean section...it's perfect...
