Challenge is underappreciated, aye

Band rules. I'm gonna sound like a broken record in these threads but everyone needs to check Nocturnal Habits. Has common members, it is amazing and is criminally overlooked. Thank you for your time!

Go to Dallas is fucking awesome, so is FYE, really digging a lot of this but those two are ace

Revisiting this lately and while I know we're all here for the bass, this maybe has the best noise Justin Trosper ever played. Really tight sounds across the whole thing

Nah, still too much an album-of-songs to compete with NPI or Leaves
Might give it another shot against Future though

obviously there's a difference between a 7-string and a bass, but they function so similarly as guidestone beneath their respective walls of sonic melancholy that I find it hard to distinguish the sound. Most everything off Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan sounds sooo similar to Repitition for me, except that it is post-djent

I draw more Hum comparisons with Deftones, but I can hear it in some of the melodies and songwriting here I guess. The final mixed products, definitely not

which option would correspond to an alternative?

Album Rating: 4.2
hmm The Future of What was always my pick for 3rd best Unwound (after Leaves/NPI), which I think is more frazzled emaciated will-go-hard battery acid energy than this one -- so that is the competition/alternative
