last i read he was a detective in some sort of crimes against children/child crimes unit, there was some funny twitter/insta post going around where someone was like 'hey my friends in red chord are playing a reunion show, don't worry about guy he's one of the good ones[than continued on about guy being a 'good' cop lol]. only politics thing related to guy i've come across was that picture where trump visited the precinct, he is from a family of north carolina cops though so who knows[and during the redchord was a guard at a mental institution or someshit]. i'd definitely gnab a vinyl of this though, glad i got to see them live back around teeth machine

never understood the backlash against clients, great stuck in traffic album. seems like people are coming around to it now though annd yeah no weak albums in chords catalog. think gunface was in a few bands since the hiatus buut never got around to checking them out

Seems to me most complaints were that they kind of did away with the sound from this album (which I don't see that much) and song-writing wasn't as tight. It was hardly a significant drop though and pretty overstated in my opinion

^^true true, i feel like the production leap loses a bit of the unique charm of fused, the vocal mixing alone gives it a different vibe. the songwriting is less chaotic, a bit more straightforward/'concise' but kinda feels like a blueprint for prey/teeth
