CoC: Maniac Butcher is famous for their slogan "No female vocals... etc."; you follow the same tradition. What is the reason for not including these elements in your music? Don't you think that music with these elements can be considered good black metal at all?

To be clear, while Aspa sings in DsO, I've talked to a friend of Mikkos who confirmed that Deathspell Omega is NOT Mikkos band and that he's just "visiting it" those were the guys exact words. He's known mikko for over 20 years. Aspa doesn't even live in the same country as the other band members who live in France. Apparently his involvement doesn't involve Lyrics at all he's like a hired musician to record with in a way.



Since the other guys want no attention whatsoever as far as their personal lives it's hard to say what they believe but the lyrics deal with philosophy and religion obviously.

Dueil Angoisseus is one of the most beautiful Black Metal songs I've heard. The acoustic guitar in that song is just mesmerizing. It sounds so melancholic. And the ending part is chilling, sounds like a recording of children singing songs hand in hand during wartime or something.
