smoke weed to it :D
while i agree that some songs are better than others, the way it all flows together is just so great
the psychadelic tracks are so easy to get lost in

this has a nice vibe but there's nothing i can really bite into. atm it's not much more than background music for me

Still trying to find that tennis ball

wish I could get into the vocals, cause god damn the instrumentals are neat

Yea the vocals are quirky. I just consider them as another instrument
|
| |
feel like i should like this more than i do. I really see why someone would love it but it just hasn't 'clicked' yet on a more personal level
if you get what i mean
|
| |
I do find myself gravitating back to listening to this even though i know i probably won't get much immediate enjoyment from it
|
| |
this makes me feel like I'm back in the south american rainforest. wish I could tap more into that and let myself just be immersed in it. but at the moment I just feel like an observer. pretty frustrating

loved this from first listen tbh, and i haven't heard any other "cloud rap" (i think?).
i can understand people not liking the raps but they're so quirky and fun, you can tell the MC's just had a really good time recording them. they might seem pretty nonsensical a lot of the time but dammit if they don't sound cool lol.
also love the way that Why kinda sing-raps in certain parts, moving up and down the register like in the first track. so good
|
| |
I don't force myself to listen to this
but I do get that "this should click one day" feeling with this album and that's never let me down
before
also I like the rapping. fits the production well
